Well last night we spend about 4 hours in the ER. Andy wasn't feeling good this weekend and we both just figured it was allergies. Saturday while we were camping he took an afternoon nap from about 1 pm to 8 pm. Woke up for a few hours and then we all went to bed. Sunday we work up and headed home. After the baby blessing he went home to sleep. Sunday night his eyes looked really red and super swollen, plus a fever. Monday he was getting worse so he stayed home and slept while Kira and I went to Hyrum Dam to play with Shayna and Collin. We got home around 7 to get ready for the fireworks and Andy looked even worse. I tried talking him into going to Insta Care or the ER. He wasn't liking that idea but after about 45 min he caved. We dropped Kira off with Shayna so she could go to the fireworks with Collin and we headed to the ER.
2 IV bags, a bag of Antibiotics, Pain meds, nausea meds, X-rays, monitoring, and a fever of 103-104 and counting. Xray came back negative for pneumonia, throat culture came back negative for Strep Throat. They decided to treat him for Severe Sinus infection and upper respiratory infection. He's on a super strong antibiotic, nasal spray, Tylenol for the fever, ibuprofen, and nausea medication. We got home after 1 am and then he was up again at 5 am because he felt sick again and his legs hurt.
This is the second year in a row he's been sick over the 4th of July. Super bummer for him. I hate seeing him sick. He's prob going to be mad that I took pictures of him, but that's our life.
